The Polofields Crossing Book Fair in support of HospiceWits is back for its winter edition. There is nothing better than curling up with a book during the cold evenings of the season, right? This year the winter book fair is poised to be a magnificent literary celebration to help us raise the funds needed to continue to support communities in and around Johannesburg and Soweto.

Book lovers will find thousands of books to choose from at Polofields Crossing Shopping Centre in Midrand between 26 and 28 May 2023. Browse for your favourite authors and unexpected gems in the book tent.

Attendees are invited to bring their own pre-loved books on the day to donate to HospiceWits, as all proceeds from the book fair go towards the provision of care and support for the patients of HospiceWits and their families in Johannesburg and Soweto.

Together with Polofields Crossing, HospiceWits will again be hosting a writing competition. We will pick six items from our charity shops to be used as topics for aspiring writers to create a story. To find out more about this, click here: [insert link]

This event is an important one on the HospiceWits annual fundraising calendar, as funds raised from the book sales will ensure the continuation of the quality care and support that HospiceWits has offered to their patients since 1979.
